Is my Item colour fast?

Yes iron your fabric for a few minutes on the printed side of the fabric with a hot iron, it will then be colour fast for 30-40 Degree wash cycle.

Home furnishing items such as cushion covers we recommend a professional dry-cleaning service.

Can i bring my own fabric or items to print on?

The Textile Studio has a variety of blank products to print on including: tote and maxi bags, tea towels, makeup bags, scarves, cushion covers and plain cotton. If you are attending a course, you can bring anything suitable (linen or cotton items are the most suitable).

If I can’t attend a course I have booked can I cancel/get a refund?

Course bookings are non refundable as it secure’s your place on the course, but we will endeavour to accommodate you on an alternative date/time. You should contact us: email / Phone if you have made a booking and need to make a change.

Can we have a private Party/Workshop?

Absolutely, parties, baby showers, bridal groups and any other groups are welcome to make a booking. We have 6 print tables accommodating a maximum of 6 people. Block bookings of 6 people get a free bottle of Fizz. If there are more than 6 in your group, drop us a message and we’ll see what can be done.

You will need to pay a 50% non refundable deposit to secure the booking. This can be done over the phone, online or in-person.

Do i need to book online?

In short no, you can book over the phone or in person or online.

is there parking at The Textile Studio?

Yes there is a car park behind the studio, which can be accessed via a small turn on Walton Road. [MAP] If you park at the church end of the car park. You can get back onto Walton Road where the studio is located.

It is possible to walk to the studio from Hampton Court Station?

It is, but it’s a good 10 minute walk.

Will there be any tea/coffee/refreshments available?

light refreshments (Coffee ,Tea, Fruit Tea) and a selection of Luxury Biscuits are provided during the course at no extra charge. if you are attending a full course, you are welcome to bring a packed lunch and store it in our fridge. there are also several nearby cafes and shops.

Do you accept credit cards?

WE accept all Major credit/debit cards and of course cash.

What should I wear?

Please wear suitable clothing for printing, a tighter fitting sleeve is perfect or a t shirt. the ink will stain, so don’t wear anything you don’t want to get ink on. We will provide aprons.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive no more than 15 MINUTES before your course start time. This will give you enough time to get an apron and a coffee/tea before the demonstration begins.

What if I’m running late?

If you’re running late please let us know as soon as possible, you can make up the time at the end of the course if you would like.

Can I extend my booking?

yes, Your booking can be extended. you’re booking is for a morning course, space dependant you can continue into the afternoon slot. additional costs will be applicable.
Block printing is addictive, and we undersatnd you may want to take a little more time, and finish a big piece off or just carry on experimenting.
